Catfé Māo Broadway Vet
The cats' wellbeing comes first.
Our team monitors each cat's appetite, activity and behaviour. We also work with Broadway Vet for health checks and veterinary care when needed. Cats have space to rest whenever they choose.

Let the cats choose to interact
The upstairs lounge is for our resident cats only. Leashed pets or pets in secure carriers are welcome downstairs at Maggie Bakery.
Cats may be curious in the morning or evening, and often nap around 2–4 pm.

On Auckland public holidays and observed dates, tickets, combos and reserved extra sessions attract a 15% surcharge. The booking calendar highlights those dates and shows the adjusted price immediately. Weekly Passes cannot be used on those dates.

Weekly Passes cost NZ$95, with 5 available each week. Buy and register a regular pass in-store, or choose a Weekly Pass gift online when gift sales are open. Gift passes must be activated by our team for a named holder and an available week before booking.

Every cat deserves a chance to feel at home.
We opened Catfé Māo in 2023 with a simple idea: help people get to know rescue cats and support their care and adoption in everyday life.
A safe place to land. A chance to start again.
Many of our cats have come from the streets or families who could no longer care for them. We provide a safe place, regular meals, daily care and veterinary support while they settle in at their own pace.
Some cats find adoptive homes, while others stay with us long-term. We always put their wellbeing ahead of visitor interaction.

Our team reviews each application and gets in touch if there may be a good match. Please allow up to three weeks.
After approval, sign the agreement, pay the adoption fee and arrange collection with the team.

We work with Broadway Vet to support our rescue cats’ health, including veterinary checks and further care as needed. Bringing a cat home is a big commitment, and we want the whole family to feel supported.

Admission and café income help us keep the space and our team running, while also supporting the cats' daily care. About your contribution
Catfé Māo is operated by Catfe Mao Limited. Contributions support cat care and related running costs. As we're not a registered charity or an IRD-approved donee organisation, these payments don't qualify for charitable donation tax credits.

How does extra support help with the cats' daily care?
Visits help keep our café running and support the cats who live here. Extra contributions help us continue their everyday care—food, litter, cleaning, enrichment and veterinary care—through busy and quiet days alike.
Is this a donation to a registered charity?
No. Catfe Mao Limited is a commercial company and is not a registered charity or an IRD-approved donee organisation. Payments are not eligible for New Zealand donation tax credits, do not include admission, and may support cat care and related operating costs.
How does monthly support work?
Stripe charges the selected amount each month until you cancel. You can use the secure billing portal below to review your payments, change payment details and cancel future renewals. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your paid billing period.
Can I help without making a contribution?
Absolutely. Booking a visit, sharing our cats' stories or considering responsible adoption already helps us. An additional contribution is never expected.
